MANAGING ALLEGATIONS AGAINST PEOPLE WHO WORK WITH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AND THE ROLE OF THE LADO

Appendix 5 Working Together 2006, and LSCB 26 sets out the process to be followed by agencies when responding to allegations against adults who work with children and young people the procedures must be used in all cases where it is alleged that a person who works with children or young people, including volunteers and foster carers has:

All allegations that meet these criteria must be reported to the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO)
