Body Piercing

Bolton Safeguarding Children Board has worked with Public Health and Bolton Council's Environmental Health Team to develop a new campaign and resource for young people and their parents/carers. The campaign focuses on Body Piercing and aims to provide anyone thinking about a piercing with the facts about:-

infection risks
what to look for in a good piercing studio
looking after your piercing

The campaign was started in response to concerns raised by parents and has been developed with support from local piercing studios in Bolton.
