Course Objectives:
On completion of this course participants will have:-
- Increased their knowledge on trends in alcohol use amongst young people
- Understand how alcohol is misused
- Developed their knowledge on the effects of alcohol misuse
- Gained confidence in working with young people using and misusing alcohol
- An understanding of harm reduction in relation to alcohol
- Discussed risk and protective factors
- Identified an appropriate intervention for young people misusing alcohol
