Course Objectives:
On completion of this course, participants will have:
- Raised their awareness of the risks posed to young people
- Explored what makes some young people more vulnerable to abuse through sexual exploitation
- Explored the pathways, grooming and issues of coercion involved for young people
- Understand the Safeguarding procedures and guidance for working with young people involved in or on the fringe of sexual exploitation
- Explored appropriate interventions
